From winning the Direct Marketing Associations' Future Innovators Award to releasing our latest version of WebLaunch, 2009 has certainly been a great year for BLI Messaging.

Our team has traveling the country visiting clients, speaking and exhibiting at trade shows as we continue to learn all we can about how best to service you. This evolutionary process has enabled us to achieve great success with our WebLaunch platform; combining email marketing, SMS text messaging, voice and fax broadcasting into one easy-to-use system.

During 2009, BLI Messaging has also developed PubDirect, a digital content and ad management system designed specifically for the publishing industry. This new product alleviates the resources of a typical publishing environment and improves efficiency and workflow - a great addition to our ever-expanding product line.

As the year comes to a close, we reflect on how far we've come and strive for even greater success next year. We will continue to keep our ears to the ground to develop and deliver innovative messaging platforms to better serve you. Marketing Planning 2010 - 5 Tips to Get You Started

It seemed that the end of 2009 and at least the first half of 2009 were marketing by marketing plans that might as well have read "Hold on for dear life and hope people start buying things again." 2010, on the other hand, feels quite different. Here are five tips to help get you started:

1. Ease into planning with a full evaluation of current/past marketing activities and results.

2. Hire the right people to help.

3. Stop wondering why what you've done in the past is not working.

4. Use the data you already have and by all means use everyone else's data.
